Available vacancy: Support Relief Workers Working in : Redcar and East Cleveland Wage: Relief Rate £6.50 to £7.28 per hour dependant upon the service

Job Description Relief Workers play an important and valuable role in covering staff absences and in ensuring continuity of support to those people with whom we work. Working on flexible rotas, includes weekends THE COMPANY: A service provider providing support for people with learning disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviour and other support needs including complex health needs. The services support individuals to live in their own homes or within our small specialist homes. THE ROLE: We are looking for highly motivated people to support adults in all aspects of daily living both within supported living, residential and outreach services, staff will be required to provide physical and emotional support, promote independence and support with domestic and personal skills. Most shifts are on a one to one basis, at varying times over seven days. We cover the Redcar / Normanby and Skelton area and contracts could be anywhere. Shifts can be staggered and staff may need to support/visit up to two different service users a day. THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be able to show an aptitude and enthusiasm for the role. You will be positive, compassionate and empathetic with an encouraging nature. You will need to have a positive attitude to the rights of people with a learning disability, particularly their right to be treated with the respect and dignity they are entitled to as an equal member of society. Previous experience would be advantageous however; fully funded, accredited training and support will be provided.
