Travel

There are different types of travel which are used everyday.  This could be going for an appointment or going to work.  Not everyone can afford a car or drivers licence.  This is when you would use public transport to get to and from places.  There are two types which are busses and trains.

Busses

Busses go almost everywhere around your local area.  Some busses come up 2-5 times an hourly some places.

When going somewhere you need to remember to time keep properly.  If you need to be somewhere for a certain time then make sure you have time.  This would include leaving you time to get to where you are going from the bus stop.  Also make sure you go for the bus 5-10 minutes.  Sometime if one bus is off time then chances are the last bus is late and could be there 5-15 minute before the bus you are waiting for.  So please take care and plan your transport with plenty of time to spare.

Make sure that you check the time table before planning your journey.  When checking for the right bus for you remember there will be more than one stop.  Also remember that some have less stops than others.  This would mean that your journey would be shorter. There are 3 different ways in which you can check a timetable.

1.  Go to a local bus stop and check which busses are going where you want to be.

2. Go to your local bus companies website and there will be timetables which you can access.

3. If you have a smart phone then you would be able to download an app.  This gives you timetables and also tracks if busses are running late or on time.

Trains

Trains are a fast the fastest because they are faster and do not have traffic to worry about.  This can cut journeys down in some cases.

Again the planning process is the same for trains so make sure that you leave yourself plenty of time. The main difference with trains and busses is that trains can be cheaper on short journeys.  This would be good when going from one town to another. The one downside to trains is they have fewer stops and could drop you off no where near where you want to be.  This is something you would need to check out. There are also 3 different ways of finding a timetable for a train which are:

1.  Going to the train stop/station and finding out which train you need and what platform.

2 Going on to the website and having a look on there
